Classes and College

Updated: Aug 24, 2022

Korean class registration is no joke. Last semester when I was starting class sign up I only got into one three-credit class in the first round. In my second round, I was able to get into another class I wanted and a class that was just open for everyone.

During this spring there are many fewer offerings of English classes at Korea University. I was hoping to take two or three history classes but the only offerings in English are on European history. I am not sure why I would study European history while I'm living in KOREA, but sadly I will try to get into one of them to complete my History minor at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Also good news! I will be graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan in December 2022!!!

This semester for classes I am not sure what I should take, I have a mix of things that interest me and required history classes. Now I need to think of what will transfer back since I added my history minor very late in the game. Thankfully everyone back at NWU is so so helpful in helping me figure out what I want to do and helping me get there. After a zoom call with my advisor, I feel like I can understand myself better and make plans for the future!

I really like school here in Korea but NWU is where people truly care about me and help me grow and guide me in directions that will be the best for me. I am thankful I chose this school and super thankful I am abroad!
